Pending Evidence Queue: September 2026

Public AI-security leads held outside Bugflation's accepted totals until an upstream fix, advisory, identifier, or clearer attribution becomes auditable.

This queue preserves promising public leads without weakening the acceptance rule. None of the items below contributes to Bugflation’s finding-page, system-profile, or unique-CVE totals.

Nebu rows awaiting independent acceptance evidence

NebuSec marks QuickJS CVE-2026-36156 and CVE-2026-36157 fixed, but the September 16 source pass found no public CVE record, upstream patch, or project advisory for either identifier. The tracker descriptions remain useful leads; they return to the accepted ledger when a public acceptance layer is found.

Five additional fixed Nebu rows link Chromium issues 493534950, 493951261, 494914816, 497112471, and 503975738 without CVEs. The audit did not independently establish acceptance from all five issue bodies, so they remain pending rather than being counted as accepted no-CVE work.

Drishti and Open5GS

The Drishti paper describes a Claude-based, human-directed audit framework and reports an Open5GS NRF parser flaw as fixed upstream. The exact public fix or assigned CVE was not located in this pass. A future entry should map the accepted patch or qualify acceptance as an author claim; the paper’s reanalysis of CVE-2025-69248 is not a new discovery of that older issue.

Reconciliation backlog

AISLE’s September 16 page exposed 392 unique CVE IDs. After this audit, 186 are represented on the AISLE profile, while 204 remain absent from Bugflation globally. Each remaining row still requires project, severity, attribution, and acceptance review. The backlog is a research queue rather than a bulk-import target.
